SBM is an excellent non-toxic auxiliary heat stabilizer for PVC. It can be effectively used alongside calcium/zinc, barium/zinc, and rare earth elements. SBM significantly enhances the efficiency of Ba/Zn-Ca/Zn and other mineral stabilizers.
This product exhibits good solubility in ether, trichloromethane, o-xylene, toluene, and aqueous sodium hydroxide. While it is slightly soluble in ethanol, its solubility in water is extremely minimal.
